I thought about Woodhull Lake but I think those campsites will fill up quickly and I don’t know if I want to drive all the way up to Utica then back up and over. I might go up to the Moose and spend time in Inlet so I can swim at the developed beach at Limekiln Lake and get ice cream and check my phone and conduct any business necessary. I haven’t decided if I will take the Adirondack Northway to the Moose.

I was tired last night and it absolutely poured, so I basically just sat in bed and played on my laptop before retiring early to bed. It’s good we finally got a good soaking rain as things started to get dried up.
Somebody left a dead doe or buck they towed out of the woods with baling twine along Elm Avenue. It might have been poached as its head was missing, though this time of year it wouldn’t have antlers and seemed pretty small to have sizable antlers. The hair was mostly gone and had been rotting for a while. It certainly stunk. Oh well.
Good morning! Happy Tuesday on this dark and gray Tuesday. We are starting this morning socked in clouds with temperatures around 68 degrees in Delmar. There is a south breeze at 8 mph. After the front came through yesterday afternoon, it got more humid and the dew point is now around 64 degrees.
Today we will remain cloudy for the bulk of the day with showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds and heavy rain. High near 83 with sticky, if not oppressive humidity by mid day. The dew point will get to 67 or 68 by mid day, making you want to seek out air conditioning. South wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
The good news is the oppressive humidity won’t last, as the dew point will drop throughout the night into the low sixties, and eventually back to the comfortable fifties. But getting to bed tonight may be a bit challenging with humidity starting to drop in the evening.
