My views on the 2024 Presidential Election …

  • I like Chase Oliver the libertarian for President, and it’s not like it matters who you vote for in New York as Kamela is going to win New York State and that’s all that matters.
  • I might write in Edward Abby for President. I think he has many good ideas and he’s dead with a tomb stone in the desert that says, No Comment. Which is the best answer for any politician.
  • Kamela would be good with the grass I like to smoke. Make America Stoned Again. Seriously, I just want to be able to legally smoke grass in the National Forest and bring it across state lines. Not that ever stopped me. Just like you shouldn’t burn plastic in New York, it’s bad for the environment unlike bulldozing endangered species habitat for housing and paving over farm fields for solar farms.
  • Kamela would promote more of her anti-second amendment crap and arbitrary and capricous restrictions on our gun rights. She probably lock up more of our public lands with more barricades and develop more of the wilderness in parks for SUV driving yuppies.

Fulton Road

Heading down Fulton Road in rural Schoharie County.

Saturday β˜€

There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go, no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone

Like everything in life you have to make choices. ↗️↖️ I could have gone out to Schoharie today but the water πŸ’¦ levels in the Schoharie were probably too high for good calm floating β• and who knows if there would be bridges or trees down at Burnt-Rossman Hills. So instead I’m catching the Nature Bus to Thacher Park 🏞 and will ride trail there and maybe back down the mountain and home. I might hammock camp tonight πŸŽ‘ and ride trail at Partridge Run and cool down and read πŸ“– at the Switz Kill. But I’m undecided like usual.

Probably I’ll start my day out at Five Rivers 🐸 and then catch the bus on New Scotland maybe out near Voorheeesville 🚍, spend a short time with the magic dragon 🐲 but not too much because I am thinking of driving 🚘 out to the wilderness later πŸ”₯ and then spend the majority of the day at Thacher Park and Thompson Lake. Undecided if I’m going to ride home, 🚲 though let’s be honest it’s a blast to ride down from Thacher Park.

I’m listening to Edward Abby’s the Brave Cowboy 🀠 audio book. πŸ“™ Hoopla has decided with all the books πŸ“š I read about the wilderness and off grid cabins and solar and smoking grass I would be into Edward Abby. I mean they’re not wrong. I never considered myself a radical environmentalist even though I don’t recycle plastic and spend a lot of time truck camping in the wilderness.
