I am still on the fence about snow camping this weekend.⛺ It might be a very starry night next to the campfire but it’s also a lot of work to drag to all that gear back in the woods. Money is always tight so it might be just better to wait until the weather is nicer come January.

People ask about my day, and it was all about guns, somatic cell counts and pond skiing.🏄 Who would have ever thought white blood cells in dairy cattle could be such a potent political issue.🐄 The YouTube videos of pond skimming looked like a hell of a lot of fun though. And I think Democrats are totally hanging themselves on guns🔫 rather than focusing on non controversial issues that normal people really care about like jobs👮👷👩👲 and taxes. 💰Or fully funding our schools.🏫 That’s what we learned last night from Western Pennsylvania. 🐣But those issues don’t give political class the boners🍆 they need to feel good. But other than that it was a good day.:D I love my corner office overlooking the mountains and my job even if somedays are challenging and New York State really isn’t my future.

I do love that Possum King Vlog channel on YouTube. 💻It’s a channel we’re these rednecks shoot guns, ride quads, drink beer, burn random shit as they work on beautifully rebuilding this totally rundown gutted mobile home. I am just impressed on how smart and knowledgeable about shit that really matters and how much fun they have up in the wilderness of where they live. 🐷🔫🏠I guess they remind me of my childhood and how lame it was coming from middle class parents when all the cool kids were rednecks who had a shit ton of fun. I’m just jealous of the rednecks of this world in free states after all these years.

Went for my evening walk and bought milk. 🍶Decided against going down to the library again.📚 Nice walk today, a little bit chilly but I can’t complain. The sidewalks are free of snow and ice. 🏃We’ve had a lot of snow this month per official readings at the airport but locally here in Delmar it’s been warm enough that only a few times it’s stuck on the asphalt.

In 2017 on that day, we had partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 87 and 58 degrees. I tell you, I wouldn’t mind a nearly 90 degree day around now. I know I’ll have second thoughts when the dew point is around 73. Actually not really because I have cold beer. Typically, you have temperatures between 56 and 36 degrees. The record high was set back in 2017.
