Good evening! Partly clear and 23 degrees in City of Albany. There is a northwest breeze at 13 mph. The current wind chill is 11. Kind of a cold evening. 

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low of 14 degrees at 5am. Seven degrees below normal. Northwest wind 5 to 13 mph. In 2016, it got down to a record breaking  -13 degrees under clear skies.

The sun will rise at 6:52 am with the first light at 6:24 am, which is 1 minutes and 23 seconds earlier then yesterday. Tonight will have 13 hours and 26 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 2 minutes and 41 seconds over last night.

Tomorrow will be partly sunny, with a high of 30 degrees at 3pm. One degreebelow normal. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning. A year ago, we had sunny skies and a high of 8 degrees. The record high of 63 was set in 1946. 23.5 inches of snow fell back in 1914.

Going to be very nice weekend. Saturday, mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Sunday, mostly sunny, with a high near 46.Typical average high for the weekend is 35 degrees. Should help to melt away some of the snow. 

In four weeks on March 13 the sun will be setting at 7:00 pm (Daylight Savings Time), which is 1 hour and 34 minutes later then tonight. In 2016 on that day, we had mostly cloudy skies and temperatures between 59 and 42 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 43 and 24 degrees. The record high of 70 degrees was set back in 2012. Even if it’s not that nice the extra sun in the evening will be appreciated.
