Good morning! What day is it? Hump Day, of course. Five weeks to 7 PM Sunset ๐. Partly sunny and 25 degrees in Delmar. There is a north breeze at 5 mph. Reasonably cool for early February but with the sun I didn’t have to button my coat on the way down to the express bus. ๐. Things will start to thaw out at around 11 am. ๐ก๏ธ
I got up reasonably early this morning but breakfast took a little longer than I expected so I wasn’t sure if I would have time to make the express.๐ But I hurried through my shower got dressed and made it down to the Park and Ride with a few minutes to spare. The express is always a nice way to get to work.๐ผ

Tuesday I was home by six o’clock which really wasn’t much worse than normal, although I had to catch the local home.ย ๐ I had some stew that my parents made up a few weeks ago for lunch so I had a light dinner. ๐ฒThis week has been busy at work but not quite so crazy.
Listened to Marketplace for a while watched a short YouTube video from How Farms Work about feeding cows in the extreme cold, I then went for my evening walk.๐ถ It had gotten cold by evening when I was walking but I have to say it was definitely nice earlier in the day. Not a terrible night for the evening walk.๐ย Lots of starts.ย I thought about going down to the library but I do that too much and I figured I’d rather do my walk then go to the library for internet access.
Bought some milk at the store, listened to about 45 minutes of the governors speech. I meant to say President. They’re all politicians, not sure if I could really tell the difference between Trump and Cuomo, they agree on about 90% of all issues.ย I kind of liked what he had to say until he got into his obsession over the wall. I wish he would keep his thoughts on the wall between himself and his hand in the Lincoln Bedroom. The milk was good, as it always is from Stewart’s. I always buy one percent. ๐ฎThe work dairy farmers due is much more important then a figure head ๐คย some five hundred miles away, as quality milk is much more important to my life than the federal government.๐ย Mornings, or for that matter dinner would not be the same with out milk. Needless to say, I’m a big milk drinker. So moo!
Continuing to work on the code for my lights in my bedroom. All the major classes and methods are done, now it’s just a matter of debugging and fine tuning the special modes. ๐ย I like being able to control things from my phone and turn the lights on upstairs from outside when I get home after dark. I also like the full control I have over the color and my virtual sunrise and sunset each day.๐ป Writing your own code, soldering and building your own devices has a lot of rewards.

A picture perfect February weekend on tap. ๐ Saturday, mostly sunny, with a high near 29. Sunday, mostly sunny, with a high near 32. Typical average high for the weekend is 33 degrees. Still looks like it’s pretty nice weekend, but maybe not quite good enough to head out of town. I’m going to have to think about it a bit more, it all depends how much snow we loose over the next few days.
