Vanderwhacker Mountain Wild Forest
Another View of Vanderwhacker Brook Campsite
There are two other campsites near this area, however by far I fell in love with this campsite. I would have stayed here, but it's a ways back, and I wanted to explore the rest of the forest. I also was worried about the risk of bad weather washing out or making this already super muddy road even muddier.

You can understand where the Boreas River gets it name.

Looking North from the camping area along NY 28N... This part is relatively flat water, but fast moving (in part due to spring), and below NY 28N, you start to get back into the rapids.

Moose Club way had a little gravel reinforcement in parts, especially the muddiest parts. It was passable, but in some parts was really pretty bad.
