One neat thing you only see really in the Northern Catskills is these wooded natural meadows, where the tree cover is thing enough to allow grass to grow below.

People sometimes wonder if you can see Albany from Windham High Peak. You can on a clear day, but it's still kind of loss in the haze due to the 30 plus mile distance your looking. The mountains are certainly easier to see from the tall buildings in Albany then vise versa.

The hills just north of the Catskill Park have a very unique shape, kind of Applachian but different.

Toes are up in the water

After replacing both burners, my campstove is working great. Nice sweet sausage and eggs, now I always use the frying pan with the eggs so things don't spill eveverywhere.
