Along the trail the runs out to Macomb Point along the Tongue of Lake George.

The vastness of the Adirondack Mountains reminds me partially of being out west once again.

Below Five Mile Mountain, some 2500 feet lower, is a place known as Five Mile Point. A picture I took when I reached that location.

Sitting out the rain showers at the Five Mile Mountain Leanto. This lean to is not well suited for rain, as it certainly must get wet in a bad storm. At night though when the sunsets it much be purty for sure.
