Tongue Mountain sticks out like a tongue into Lake George. It's a series of connected peaks running nine miles along the spine of a peninsula that juts southward into the lake.

This believe it or not was an old wagon road. It's pretty much impassable by anybody but the hiker due to abandonment over a century ago.
