I’ve always wanted to spend more time exploring Appalachia, especially Kentucky. Been through some of the deep hollows in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, but I’d really like to get know more of what deep rural is like. A place in reverence of the mountains and land. Yeah, I’ve been to some places way off the beaten track in New York, like remote parts of Chenango County but it really isn’t as culturally different as some of places I’ve read about but not seen.

Cybersecurity Attack Shuts Down Colonial Pipeline : NPR

A cybersecurity attack has shut down one of the largest refined products pipelines in the United States, and a security analyst said it shows that "core elements of our national infrastructure" remain vulnerable to cyberattack.

The attack hit Colonial Pipeline, which carries gasoline, diesel and jet fuel from Texas to New York and moves about 45% of all fuel consumed on the East Coast.
