Monday evening 4/6/2015

I just felt the first rain drops before coming in….

Tonight’s going to be showers, low around 34. The rest of the week will be chilly with periods of rain and highs around 50. Snow appears to be done at least for Albany.

A nice weekend on tap. Highs 55-60 and sunny both days. This is subject to change as the week progresses.

I hope you had a great day. Good night!

How To Ease Your K-Cup Conscience

How To Ease Your K-Cup Conscience

Solution: Use a 6-cup percolator pot like I use every day. Compost the grounds or at least dump on the grass. No waste, except the recyclable and re-usable can that provides over 200 cups of coffee. Plus, you can re-heat the coffee the next day, if you don't drink it all.

Mid-Day Weather Update

At the noon-time hour, we are at 50 degrees. Might reach 60 by late afternoon with gradual clearing. Sunset is at 7:27 PM with nautical twilight concluding around 8. Enjoy this evening, it’s best one for a while.

Already up four degrees

Today is already warming up fast. It may have been a cold start to the morning but it’s already up morning.

I’m glad spring is finally underway. The walk down to the Park and Ride was nothing short of delightful with the birds chirping. Still a hazy sunshine but I expect clearing later in the day.

I can’t even express how miserable the 787 commute home is going to be with all of the construction delays this summer. At least I won’t be driving and will leave it up to the professionals. Even when I drive downtown, I will take city streets and avoid the expressway.

Next weekend doesn’t look good for camping at this point but things can change on the weather front. I think the winter cold is mostly over and the snow is in terminal decline.
