I was surprised to open my mail and see the State Board of Elections sent me the Albany County Voter File on a DVD . Didnโt charge for it either. I had assumed that it would be a drop box link to download. Of course itโs a bit of a problem as my computer no longer had a DVD player installed as my other hard drive is there. I didnโt know people used DVDs with bandwidth being so cheap. I feel silly for only requesting just the county file and not the state. But I only really plan to model on county data and help local candidates this year. Next year Iโll get the state file.

Working on another mapping project for another local environment group. This is kind of a fun project looking at potential routes for a bike trail. Itโs a little different than another one Iโm doing with calculating distance of houses from a local hazardous waste site. Not a pay week and quiet walking past the high school as the schools are on February break. But I would not say itโs February break in the office , we are quite busy despite being casual dress. I need my coffee just like an addict this morning after cutting back so much in recent weeks to save money and improve health. I kind of fell off the wagon in all ways possible this weekend up in Madison County.
