New York poised to lose two congressional seats – Times Union
It will probably mean Upstate NY loses three congressional seats while New York City gains one, as Upstate is where most of the population loss is and New York City is where the population gains are happening. One seat will go to Texas and one to Florida. But maybe I'm wrong, the rules for congressional seats are complicated.

I never thought about adding salt to water before freezing it in the freezer to make it last longer and be colder, but when you think about it, makes a lot of sense. Salt reduces the freezing temperature, so when it's frozen, it takes more energy to thaw it out. I'm going to have to try adding salt to frozen water coffee cans in my freezer.

Last night with the rain I decided to stay home, doing some reading and working on some code. 📗I finally got the LOIN32 development boards but I did not do any soldering projects. Maybe tonight. I have a few projects that I want to work on including rebuilding the lighting controller I built last year with the LOLIN32 rather than the Arduino Uno it’s built around now. As the PWM works different on the different board and I’ll be using Bluetooth rather than IR remote, it’s going to require almost a complete rewrite of the code. But that’s fine as I’ve learned a lot of the year and can make the code much more efficient. β
