Woodhull Lake

Take Wolf Lake Landing Road to the Wolf Lake Landing Parking area. Carry your boatd 1/4 mile to the lake. Wolf Lake was merged with Woodhull Lake when the reservior was formed. There is a lean-to, outhouse, and a good place to launch a hand-carried boat. AT the southern-most portion of the lake there is a a dam that holds back the lake. Part of the lake is lightly developed with cabins along the shoreline.

From Four-Day Weeks to AC Bans, the World Is Scrambling to Save Energy – WSJ

Governments around the world are pressuring consumers to reduce energy use in one of the broadest efforts to alter fuel-consumption habits since the 1970s, as the Iran war drives oil-and-gas prices sharply higher.

The changes are being rolled out as a mix of voluntary acts, soft restrictions and incentives to cut demand. But the policies are multiplying and growing more constraining as the crisis continues.

The war has closed the Strait of Hormuz, which normally caters to about 20% of global oil consumption, causing the biggest supply shock in the history of the oil market, according to the International Energy Agency.

Exit 10 Sidney Interchange on Interstate 88

Built up against the Poplar Hill, which makes for a tight ramp heading north-bound, though probably relatively little traffic actually heads north out of Sidney with the preference being more southerly, with north bound traffic more frequently staying on NY 7.

Camping Trash

All gone. There's to you, Mr. Pete Grannis, DEC Commish. I took this picture, only 8-months after your stupid ban went into effect. Not that there was anybody around, after a very quiet night at the Cotton Hill Lean-to. I did make sure that everything burned up completely, and left no litter around for the next camper.
