Good evening. Currently cloudy and 34 degrees. Tomorrow will be 41 degrees and mostly cloudy. The warmer temperatures should help melt some of the slop on the sidewalks. Sunrise at 7:25 AM. Have a great night.
December 29, 2015 evening
Good evening! It looks like the worst of today’s weather is over, and it’s mostly turned to rain and is about 32. Roads that have been salted should be good but sidewalks and other locations may still be icy. Going to warm up to above freezing and around 35 by 9 PM then cool down to 33 degrees by daybreak. Tomorrow will mostly cloud with temperatures gradually increasing to about 41 degrees by 3 PM.
I still feel pretty sick but hopefully this is the last day of feeling ill. Mostly I just feel really tired, despite getting plenty of sleep last night and over sleeping this morning. I really want to feel better by New Year’s Eve. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Adirondacks and will be nice to get back up there.
Why West Coast Drivers Say ‘The’ Before Their Highway And Road Numbers.
I've always though they should go back to the named expressways -- like the Riverfront Route (I-787) or the Northside Route in Albany (I-90) or Albany's Crosstown Expressway (NY 85), which where the names of the expressways before formal interstate numbers where given to them upon their competition.

December 29, 2015 morning
Good morning. On this final Tuesday of 2015 it’s sleeting and around 29 degrees. The bus seems to be running on time but the untreated surfaces are somewhat slippery but not as slippery as if we had gotten freezing rain. The freezing rain will come later and transition over to rain, leaving us little slop left over.
I am still feeling a little bit sick but they are short staffed and at this point I’m mostly recovered and I need to get caught up on things at work.
A much as I hate living in the city, it sure is nice on icy days like today. I don’t have to worry about my commute and on nice weekends I can spend them out in the wilderness.
Still looking at heading up to the Adirondacks camping for New Years Eve. This won’t require a lot of preparations. With the snow, it will likely involve tent camping, with gear dragged back into the woods. Another possibility is camping locally. I’m thinking about that too.
I am almost to work. Have a safe commute and enjoy your Tuesday.
