On a Tree

...

Good bye, February

Watching the setting sun on this Friday afternoon on the bus ride home. Traffic is light, won’t be a long commute home. February is all but done, only one extra day Saturday as it’s a leap year. Only one more Friday and it will be Daylight Savings Time.

I am glad it’s over. I’m tired of the cold winter days and the darkness prevailing with deep snow and ice blocking off access to the roads I like to camp on off of. Winter is a good time to save gas and miles on the truck, spending more time close to home. Often March can have some warmer weather but if not, April is just around the corner.

Nice Roaring campfire

It was a beautiful Saturday evening by the campfire on the East Branch of the Sacanadaga River, not too cold back when I made this video in November 2017.
