Seneca Falls was fun to explore but what a dreary day weather wise. Drove up to Montezuma but it was drizzle and 30 degrees and a lot of the trails are closed in December and January due to bird migration. It was better down here in Hector, even saw some blue sky briefly in the morning. Really the only day it was sunny was on Sunday, and even then it was bitterly cold with the mercury struggling to reach the mid 20s. But I guess it’s December and it’s still nice to get away and spend some time in the wilderness.

Decent stack of firewood

Been cold.

Been cold. Over the past four nights burned through 3.2 gallons of propane for heat – light – cooking at camp which is equal to 13 1/2 of the one lb camping cylinders. Fortunately bulk propane fill in Seneca Falls is only $2.10 gallon.
