I don’t see any real chance for turning off the heat and opening the windows this week but at least the heat won’t be working hard after Sunday. I don’t think this weekend would be a good one for getting out of town but things could change. Each day though we are getting closer to April. The black flies are taking notice.

Good morning! Happy Read Across America Day 📚 !

I have to admit that I haven’t done much reading lately. I did a lot last summer but often I find they don’t always have a lot of up to date books in the library in topics I’m interested in.

Partly cloudy and 34 degrees in Delmar, NY. 🌥 There is a west-northwest breeze at 8 mph. 🍃. There are 3 inches of snow on the ground. ☃ ️Temperatures will drop below freezing at around 6 pm. ☃️

I am pleasantly surprised on how mild things are this morning 🌅, I am a bit over dressed for the weather today. Maybe there is hope for the spring time. 🌸 I got a bit later start then ideal for the morning walk 🚶. A lot of people out walking this morning.

I did my evening walk 🚶 last night and got my 10,000 steps in. Got milk 🥛 and went to bed 🛏 by 8:30. I didn’t stay up for listening to the super spreader event, 😷 the mask less State of the Union 🎤 because I figured I could get the important parts in the morning news 📰 report. Anything the president says isn’t particularly important if it doesn’t become news.

I am undecided about the early morning walk program 🚶 come the time change. I do like getting up at 5 AM or some time around there and retiring to bed a little after 8 but it will be difficult to do when the time changes. 😴 And mornings will be really dark.
