October and already the leaves are fading away in the Adirondacks. 🍂 Most shocking to me is that we are less then a month away from November, which in many ways should be a sigh of relief with the craziness of work and with the deep blue skies and crisp days of that month.

Wilcox Outlet Flatwater

About a mile west of Wilcox Lake, there is a section of flatwater marsh of the Wilcox Lake Outlet. The Willis-Wilcox Trail follows this marshland in the distance for a while, before eventually turning to the north, then crossing the Wilcox Outlet in a more narrow part of the stream.
