Fresh ginger π«
I got some fresh ginger roots at Aldi’s yesterday and it’s been in every meal since then. Even more pungent and delicious then the ground ginger I normally use while cooking.
It’s always nice when you get back from the grocery store and your pantry is fully stocked. Dinner was a delicious mixture of onions, corn, cornmeal, garlic, fresh ginger. Breakfast was onions, eggs, tomatoes, lots of ginger and garlic, more corn and cornmeal, tons of tumeric and a bit of salt. Good start to the day, and I chopped up even more of the fresh ginger in my coffee. And more onions for lunch. There is probably a reason why my kitchen regularly smells like onions, I eat so many of them.
Yesterday was fun but a bit cool out riding in the Albany Pine Bush. I went for a walk around Crossgates Maul after riding in the Pine Bush, that is once I found parking, after turning in the wrong parking lot that was already full by Best Buy. The maul is smaller then I remembered, I walked the entire internal corridor in about 15 or 20 minutes and headed back to my truck. Wasn’t a single store or business that interested me at the maul.
