I learned there is a little hex key you can turn so that your headlights are actually pointing more at the road just by opening the hood. Really easy to do too.

Little Falls

Little Falls is a charming little city. In a deep valley, the city is surrounded by rich agricultural lands farmed by generations of families with a deep connection to the land.

 Mohawk River

It has both the falls and the canal, the Erie Canalway bike trail that follows a deep cut in the side of a hill where the old railroad grade ran. Hints of the old industrial landscape dot the hillsides, mill buildings turned into apartments downtown. The Adirondacks are only twenty miles to the north.

Little Falls

I like small town America. I honestly wouldn’t mind living in the country not far from a city like this. The natural resources nearby are superb. But alas, what does one do for work? Plus it’s New York State with the high taxes, the burn ban and all the gun restrictions.

Bizarre Particles Keep Flying Out of Antarctica’s Ice, and They Might Shatter Modern Physics

"There’s something mysterious coming up from the frozen ground in Antarctica, and it could break physics as we know it.'

"Physicists don’t know what it is exactly. But they do know it’s some sort of cosmic rayβ€”a high-energy particle that’s blasted its way through space, into the Earth, and back out again. But the particles physicists know aboutβ€”the collection of particles that make up what scientists call the Standard Model (SM) of particle physicsβ€”shouldn’t be able to do that. Sure, there are low-energy neutrinos that can pierce through miles upon miles of rock unaffected. But high-energy neutrinos, as well as other high-energy particles, have β€œlarge cross-sections.” That means that they’ll almost always crash into something soon after zipping into the Earth and never make it out the other side."
