Looking north-west from the firetower at the fading colors, on this late October day. The terrian in this direction, which shows part of Petersburgh State Forest, is relatively rolling, but not mountaness, although a clearer you could certainly see the Adirondacks from here.

Maybe somewhat faded by the late season and relatively dry autumn, there were still many excellent reds and yellows to be taken in from the Dickinson Firetower.
