Not a terribly cold day but the morning was a bit chilly and the afternoon got cloudy ⛅. I stayed home except for a walk to the park ⛲ and watched some videos, scrolled through Facebook 📜, listened to some podcasts and worked on some little project’s. 🐰 Kind of odd not seeing family 👪 for Easter but so be it.

Not going to be a real nice day tomorrow ☁ but so be it. I do need to get to the laundromat and the post office ✉ to get stamps. And who knows how busy work will be on Monday, I expect it to pick up like last week but who knows in these crazy 😜 times. Might be good for the weekend for camping ⛺ but only time will tell. I need to get groceries too, I’m hoping Tuesday maybe to go to Rennselear and hike a bit after work and go to Aldi. The thing is they close at 7 pm so I have to plan appropriately. But they’re so fast and efficient to shop 🏪 and the money saved along with the ease of the small store makes it worth it. I hope I don’t get soaked down at the post office if we get driving rain.

Not having internet access at home except for my phone and no television leaves me with less to keep myself occupied and has made work more difficult until I got a laptop
While I’ve been walking nightly down to the town park, I’m very hesitant to sit on a park bench to be safe and ticks are very bad for sitting in the grass this year
Its just not a lot of space to do things – I used to regularly walk down to the park or the library for internet and other services
I don’t have a comfortable chair or desk at home for working all day long
Truth be told, except for a few bitterly cold or rainy days I’m rarely home all day prior to the pandemic – instead I’d be at work until late in the day, be out camping or hiking, down at the library or park – home was more a place to get the mail and sleep the days between work days
Quite the reverse, in fact. Because of the need to shift resources to COVID-19 treatment bays, hospitals have had to close other departments. That means postponing or canceling non-critical, elective surgeries like knee replacements and procedures like colonoscopies, which generate the bulk of revenues for hospitals. So, in many cases, hospitals are losing money. As a result, they're laying off staff. Sometimes thousands of staff.
