Good Afternoon – October 10, 2021

Good afternoon! Really vibrant colors out today hiking on Burnt Hill. πŸ‚

While vibrant blue skies are nice sometimes a more cloudy day can really make the pinks, reds and oranges pop in the forest.

Mostly cloudy and 57 degrees at the Burnt-Rossman State Forest. πŸŒ₯ There is a southeast breeze at 7 mph. πŸƒ. The dew point is 50 degrees. The skies will clear tomorrow around 11 am tomorrow.

Today I’m out hiking on Burnt and Rossman Hills β›° just checking out the autumn foliage and wildlife. Cloudy at times but the color is good. I figured today would be a hike around camp β›Ί type of day. And also do a lot of reading πŸ“– and laying back in the hammock. It’s really a pretty mild and nice day for mid October. Columbus Day did fall early this year it seems but the colors are good in the high country.
