When they converted the old rail line into a bicycling/hiking/horse trail, they resorted many of the old stations into tourist kiosks/outhouses.

Just Watch Out for the Oil Field Traffic

This was seen on Thompson Hollow Road, the lower portion which had been slightly widened to allow them to truck all the water, chemicals, and drilling rig for the well on the mountain. This sign is right before a hairpin turn, where trucks have to back around, to continue up the hill to the well.

Forest Road Improved for Gas Drilling

They didn't turn it into a freeway, but it had to be widened somewhat to allow over-width and over-load trucks to navigate it safely. When the natural gas well is done, they will be left with a much safer and easier road to drive.
