Dusk at Icehouse Pond

Remote wilderness pond that is accessed via a 4/10th mile accessible trail from Otter Brook Road.

Camping Along Hope Falls Road

It has been a few years since I've camped back along Hope Falls Road, north of Spectulator but it was a nice change to go somewhere in the Adirondacks different. Hiked back to Tenant Creek Falls twice during the weekend, and then out to Wilcox Lake. East Stoney Creek had a decent amount of water for cooling off in it but the currents were pretty strong.

Outside of Bridgewater

Setting sun outside of Bridgewater along the Cherry Valley Turnpike on Friday evening. Just another beautiful section of US 20.

Rural Grove Area

Heading out from Sprakers up to Rural Grove along one of the loneliest roads in the Mohawk Valley, namely NY 162. Farm country, some amish but a lot of traditional dairy and abandoned farm land.

Chain Lake

Just a short stop at Chain Lake, which is down a ways from Queer Pond in the Pigeon Lake Wilderness.
