The ridge behind it runs along the Vly Stream, I believe, but are not totally sure about this from the map.

This is interesting, as most of the ones I've seen from this era mention the year they where manufactured -- mostly '67 or '69. This one doesn't really say.

Heading towards Trout Lake on the West Branch. I guess if I hadn't had to previously get out to go over a beaver dam, or deal with shallow water, I wouldn't have objected so much.

They probably should have put a spotlight on this sign to make a little more obvious at night.
