Corridor "H" is the highway prominently shown in the center. It is an elevated highway through the valley. Pilgrim's Pride slaughterhouse is seen in the lower left corner, they process birds grown at farms along the Sweedlin Valley and some of the other agricultural areas in valleys. Moorefield WV
Winchester Avenue in Moorefield. A town in West Virginia that smells a lot like raw chicken, like you might get from the store, as it's home to the Pilgrims' Pride factory that turns the many live chickens from local farms into the styrofoam and plastic chicken you get at the store.
Saturday October 21, 2017 — Moorefield, WVPilgrims Pride Chicken 🐔 Plant
If you've had Pilgrim's Pride chicken breasts or chicken paddies, chances are that this slaughter house in Moorefield is where the chickens were harvested, cleaned and packaged in the wrappers. At times the plant can be a bit pungent as it was when I drove by a few years back.
