That's what the sign says when you enter Vermont.

This is the intersection of the Pine Cobble Trail and the Appalachian Trail.

It was such a stunning white rock (much Vermont marble), against such a beautiful blue sky.

These are on East Mountain. Somehow this area reminded me a lot of the Albany Pine Bush, even if the ecosystem was kind of different, as was the rocky surface. I guess my familiarity comes from seeing the Pine Trees in the foreground, with the mountains in the background.

This is the trail that goes up East Mountain. As you can see, it's not particularly steep.

A partial view from Pine Cobble. East Mountain doesn't look very impressive from the nearby Pine Cobble, but it has some pretty views once your up it.

Through the trees on top of Pine Cobble you can see North Adams. Once you cross the top you get a much clearer view of North Adams.
