August 25, 2017 – Looking Head this Weekend

This weekend I am heading up to Piseco-Powley Road to enjoy a late summer weekend.Β It doesn’t look like it’s going to be a real warm weekend, feeling more like autumn then late summer. I didn’t pack my kayak (as my paddle) but I will probably go hiking back to Spectacle Lake or maybe Third Lake or Good Luck Lake and shore fishing on Saturday, and maybe hit up the Potholers on Sunday if it’s not too frigid.Β

Weekend Weather Summary
Today. Mostly Sunny and 74 degrees , 7:44 sunset.
Tonight. Mostly Clear and 49 degrees , 6:17 sunrise.
Saturday. Sunny and 74 degrees , 49 max dew point, 7:42 sunset.

Powley Bridge

While I didn't camp this past weekend at Powley Bridge, this is one of my favorite campsites and favorite areas in the entire Adirondacks. Framed by old growth spruce trees, and crossed by the East Canada Creek this area is beautiful.

Stewart Landing

Heading back to shore by the Stewart Landing Dam on the Sprite Creek.
