How did I see the world as teenager, 20 years ago? I found an old copy of the blog with it's humble roots as hand-coded static HTML pages that I thought would be interesting to share here.

Old Photos

Lately I’ve been going through my blog, looking at old photos and deciding which ones I should I re-feature and which I should cull.

I have a lot of old photos, some of which aren’t that great or are duplicates and really don’t make sense to keep on the blog. I really want to add new and interesting photos and sometimes it good to get rid of the old.

I have to say I like browsing my own blog

I have to say I like browsing my own blog. It has a lot of interesting content not found on other parts of Internet. But then again, I am a bit of a map geek, and are fascinated in land use and relationships of place and terrain, and they aren’t many other blogs that I am aware of that are quite like my blog. I guess it’s close to home.

Sometimes I get the weirdest spam emails

Sometimes I get the weirdest spam emails. The latest was on “student bullying” that was some kind of link boosting scheme that promised that I would be helping a fictional classroom if I were to link to it.

Then I get these random emails about featured guest posts all the time, and then emails about offering web services to improve my blog. Thank you, but no thank you.
