NYSERDA’s Green Building

Never mind it's in Albany Pine Bush, the building is green, as it has solar panels on it! Of course, there is no direct bus service here, so almost all of NYSERDA's employees have to drive in privately owned cars that guzzle fuel to get to work. Maybe they drive hybrids!

NYSERDA in the Pine Bush

Back as recently as 1995, this was still Albany Pine Bush. Now it's home to the NYSERDA, the NY State Energy Research and Development Agency, that tacks taxes on everybody's energy bills, so they can have money to lease space in Albany Pine Bush, and talk about sustainable energy use, while consuming lots of it.
