By the time I made it home, traffic was largely gone from local roads, which had a couple of inches of snow on them, because the plows couldn't keep up.

Picking Up

As I headed out to Voorheesville, the snow really started picking up, as I walked under the old highway bridge over the railroad tracks.

Faded

The falling snow made the rough, largely abandoned woods along the rail trail look almost like a scene in a snow globe, fading away into the cloud of white.

Along Hudson Ave

The rail trail, a decade ago before they paved it and added all the signage and guard rail. Was it an improvement? Somewhat, but now the trail is so much more crowded.
