Good morning! Happy Tuesday. Currently 19 degrees and mostly cloudy with a 6 mph north-northeast wind. The wind chill value is currently 11. Kind of yet another depressing weather morning, but I got a good night’s sleep and was able to force myself to get going early and walk down to the Park and Ride.

On the environment front, today in 1983, the Environmental Protection Agency announces its intent to buy out and evacuate the dioxin-contaminated community of Times Beach, Missouri. A disaster that makes all the stuff I’ve burnt over the years look like child play. I got to say anything with PVC plastic in it stinks to high heck.

Every day we get closer to the weekend. I definitely enjoy the walk down to the Park and Ride, and don’t really know why I haven’t been doing this all the time except maybe because I like to sleep in. But I enjoy getting a jump on the mornings.
