Schroon River

The Schroon River is a scenic, 68-mile-long tributary of the Hudson River located entirely within the Adirondack Park of New York. It features a mix of calm, flatwater stretches perfect for family paddling and fishing, and sections of swift, cool whitewater for intermediate paddlers. The river is noted for its beautiful, secluded, tree-lined banks and frequent wildlife sightings.
