May the Forth Be With You โ˜„๏ธ

Good morning, May the Forth Be With You. โ˜„๏ธ Not owning a television ๐Ÿ“บ I’ve never gotten into Star Wars but I know Speaker Heastie is big into that. I’m out at Five Rivers Environmental Education Center ๐Ÿธ for a ride and a bit of a walk ๐Ÿšถ before the rain. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Going to be a wet few days so best to get out when I can. I’ll probably do some walking next week in the Empire Plaza before and after work.

It was nice exploring the Pine Hollow Arboretum ๐ŸŒฒ last night. It’s such a hidden jewel ๐Ÿ’ in the suburbs and unlike later in the summer not terribly buggy. Those magnolia trees were spectacular yesterday. ๐Ÿชท Spring has definitely arrived and with the mild temperatures and rain even the mountains should green up soon. Rain most of the first half of the week but it’s expected to improve come next weekend.

I’m really thinking about hiking next weekend in the Catskills โ›ฐ๏ธ but I also kind of want to camp two nights. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ So many different options it would seem. Gas is cheap โ›ฝ and summer is not long but I do have to deal with black flies. Rennselaerville is always an option as is Burnt Rossman. I don’t know, I’m not sure if the Forest Service roads in Vermont are open yet. ๐Ÿšง Could still turn to rain by next week. Sunday is Mother’s Day and Mom is going to dinner that day with Dad so I’ll have all weekend to do whatever I want. And absolutely no idea what to do on Memorial Day Weekend.

St Lawerence County Primative Campsites And Lean Tos

This map shows the locations of campsites on the St. Lawerence Flat Lands and surrounding areas in the north-western Adirondacks. I believe this is a fairly complete map for state land up that way, please see individual state forests for details.
