8-14 Day Outlook – Monday October 31
Daily Update – October 31, 2022
Good morning! Happy Halloween! ðĶ ð
As the bus slowly departs the station as the driver sips his coffee. It is a pleasant end to the month of October which ended most pleasantly.
Partly sunny and 43 degrees at the Elm Ave Park and Ride. ð Calm wind. And like that, we depart the station ð right on time.
It was to get away for a couple of days âš even if it was just Rennselearville State Forest. I know winter is coming with gas prices heading back up and such trips will be more infrequent but it was a break from the craziness of urban life. ðĪŠ
Walking the Plaza early this morning ðķ trying to get my steps ðĢ in earlier as I’m not sure if I will walk this evening with Halloween ðĶ but I do want to make sure I get the 10k in for the day regardless.
The state is busy setting up the ice rink âļ for the opening around Thanksgiving ðĶ and the holiday season. ð ð I have to admit I listened to a track from a Christmas record the other day when I was feeling so sick ðĪŪ. Seasons come and go so quickly these days, ðļ spring will be here before you know it or so I tell myself.
Last week going to work before the time change. ð More sunlight in the morning will be nice but not the very dark evening commute, especially the walk home in the dark. But next week is a three day work week with the Lunar Eclipse ð holiday on Tuesday and Veterans Day ðŠ on Friday.
So far it’s been a relatively quiet morning ð§, the emails, texts and phone calls with projects have yet to roll ðĨ in. I have a list ð from the weekend but it’s only so long. Maybe though after my sick day on Friday there is a bunch of things I don’t know about.
Depending on how busy I am next week and the weather â that will decide if I do a trip out of town for Veterans Day Weekend. I have surprisingly little vacation time left this year after I sell back a bunch of time to pay for my health insurance. ð·
Weather Update – October 31, 2022
Lots of sunny days and mild to start out November ð
On the warmer side for Halloween ðĶ which the kiddies will like ðŽ with rain â showers later. Tuesday is the only less than great day but it still will be quite mild. Weekend looks mild but I am thinking it will be cloudier â and maybe wetter then what they are suggesting right now. I don’t see any freezing weather or snow ðĻ in the near future. That said, we are continuing to loose daylight and things are very much heading towards the time change ð next week.

Voters in five states, including four that are among the most conservative in the country, are deciding on whether to legalize recreational marijuana this election. If passed in each state, Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota would join 19 other states and the District of Columbia where cannabis has already been legalized for personal use.
