Good morning! March is almost done. π¦
It so we tell ourselves. Albany has been known to stop the clock π squeeze a few more hours or even days out of the month. It’s a place where timely is basically a pseudonym for on time.
Partly cloudy and 40 degrees in Delmar, NY. β
There is a south-southeast breeze at 8 mph. π. Temperatures will drop below freezing at Saturday around 2 am. βοΈ
Maybe a tad bit cool this morning β but you can see the rain clouds pushing in from the south and I’m pretty sure by evening I’ll need my umbrella by going home π‘ time whenever that is. Still I’m glad to be doing my walk with just the vest on today.
Yesterday was a busy day at work πΌ until it wasn’t. π Got home at 7:15 had a quick dinner and went for my evening walk. The off to bed π. Slept fairly well but woke up early. Tonight I’ll probably sleep with the windows open π³ which should help.
It looks like a pretty nice weekend π¦ but I have a feeling that I will be working and not fishing. π’ Probably downtown. But it’s April and the weather is moderating and I’m hopeful to do a weekend out of town βΊ either the second or third weekend of April.
Indeed already with the warmer temperatures this morning πΎ I’m starting to see the grass green up and with the rain this evening and temperatures not expected to fall much below freezing in the coming week it’s possible spring will start popping up all over. π·
I’ve been reading π° about the latest uptick in COVID-19 both in Central NY and the State Capitol, and I just find it hard to believe how few people are wearing masks out and about. π· I’ve gone to meetings and walked around in the Concourse and I’m one of the few people still wearing a mask. It’s like it’s spring, so people think they can let their guard π down. I guess people figure if there is no government worker with an AK-47 pointed at them, they don’t need to wear a mask. π¨ But the COVID-19 doesn’t care about what the government workers say or do.
