Rainy day today, ice and snow later 🌧

Not a particularly day, although so far things are more just damp then really rainy. But maybe ice and snow later. Then cold for the weekend, although warmer then recent weekends. But look ahead to next week? It will be a lot warmer. 😎 I am very happy with next week’s forecast. Need to wash my truck — maybe Sunday evening.

I think it will be too cold to head out of town this weekend, but maybe some good snow for skiing. ⛷ It does seem like the cold is moderating a bit. Maybe in a future week though. I will have to take it day by day.

Good Morning – February 3, 2022

Good morning! Happy Rainy Thursday. 🌧️

That said it will turn to snow and ice before you know with temperatures expected to drop this evening, hopefully after the evening rush. Maybe a few inches of snow by morning but I’m not convinced this will be a big snow event locally come tomorrow. I could be surprised tomorrow but I don’t know. Buses will be running regardless or I can work from home.

Rain and 38 degrees in Bethlehem, NY. ☔ There is a south breeze at 9 mph. 🍃. There are 2 inches of snow on the ground, melting quickly. ☃ ️Temperatures will drop below freezing at around 6 pm. ☃️

Taking the bus downtown. 🚌 Kind of a wet day, more dreary then wet you might say. 👨‍💼 It’s a session day, so I’m wearing the suit and tie, taking the local bus to work. Tomorrow though isn’t a session day, and if the weather isn’t to bad, it will be back to taking the express to work. 🚏 I much prefer taking the express, but I don’t like walking down to the express with my dress clothes on.

We will only see how bad this snow and ice storm. 🌨 It could be almost anything, it seems like they keep changing the forecast. People say it’s going to be bad, but I don’t really care. 🚌 The buses will be running regardless of the weather, and I can bundle up and head downtown. Or work from home. Hopefully I won’t loose power, mainly because it could get very cold especially come Saturday. 🏭 🔌

Yesterday, was a pretty quiet day. 🏠 I got home by 6 PM, which was unexpected, had some dinner then went for my morning walk 🚶‍♀️ and to bed. 🛌 Didn’t fall asleep right away but I got a fair amount of sleep.
