While working for the Department of Justice, attorney Laura Coates says she saw voter rolls being purged and instances where polling places were moved to known Klan locations. She also worked as a prosecutor and had to grapple with her own relationship with law enforcement, as a Black woman. Coates is a CNN analyst and hosts a SiriusXM show. Her new memoir is ‘Just Pursuit.’
Camping at Table Rock / Canaan Heights – November 10, 2021
Packing up and leaving early after a night at Canaan Heights - Table Rock in West Virginia when I was having problems with a bad wheel bearing in my truck. I wish I could have spent more time in West Virginia -- I'm almost tempted to go back down there this autumn again. November camping was cold, but it might be worth it, just to set up camp at Canaan Heights and spend some time there again.
January 17, 2022 – Looking Ahead This Week
Kind of a cold week on tap. β

In a week, it will be close to the 5 PM sunset, something we all are looking forward too. I might have to work next week, so who knows if I will be able to get out of town — and if I do it still be pretty cold.
