Really disappointed with this morning but the long weekend still looks good but autumn like. ☀
What can I say except that it should be be fairly dry and sunny for a change. Maybe not real good swimming 🏊 weather but autumn is basically here 🍁especially up north. I still think I picked a good autumn weekend to get out of town.

Good Morning – September 18, 2021
Good morning! Not as nice of morning as I had hoped. 🌥
I am still getting ready to head up to the Adirondacks though. I’m thinking Piseco Powley Road for one more time this year through Tuesday. Hopefully better weather the second half of the week.
Mostly cloudy and 65 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁ Calm wind. The dew point is 64 degrees. The skies will clear around 1 pm.
The plan is today to go up to Mariaville and explore Featherstone State Forest 🐦 🌳🌲 🐸 and maybe kayak 🛶 in Mariaville or Featherstone Lake. Then I’m going to go up to Piseco-Powley Road and probably camp up in Powley Place assuming I can get a campsite there ⛺ or maybe House Pond site so I can swim whenever. I do need some food 🍲 and supplies and will top off the propane tank in Gloversville Tractor Supply.
Sunday or Monday I want to do paddling or maybe floating in the tube 🔘 if it’s not too cold. Tuesday I might go to Moss Island and hike around there and paddle some of the canal. This though is a rough draft subject to change. I decided against bringing the heater – it’s not going to be that cold or wet. ♨ I might want to work in a hike to a place with a good view if the colors are good but it’s been a relatively mild autumn 🍁 and I’m not planning on going to the high country so the colors may not be great at this point.
