Today was a nice day, 🌲🐛🐸🦋🦆 doing some hiking and poking around the Pine Bush. I wanted to go to Black Creek Marsh but I didn’t get a very early start as I got listening to the news 📰 and then I ended up working on some code for my blog.

Tonight will have patchy frost after 5am. Otherwise, increasing clouds 🌃, with a low of 36 degrees at 4am. 14 degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around October 27th. Calm wind. In 2019, we had mostly clear skies in the evening, which became partly cloudy by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 42 degrees. The record low of 30 occurred back in 1979.

I am thinking about getting up fairly early and doing some bird watching 🐦 at Black Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area in the morning. 🌅 I haven’t been there since spring and it’s nice. I was going to do that this morning and then last night but I didn’t get an early start.

Still dealing with really gross socks 🧦. I’m hopeful this time with soaking them they’ll get nice and clean. I will rinse them out come morning.

Got my new mask from Lynne Jackson. 😷 I will still wear the bandana when I’m out and about but when I’m working downtown it’s better to have something cooler and more comfortable.
