Running and Scheduling QGIS Processing Jobs β QGIS Tutorials and Tips
This seems to give a good overview of how to script QGIS processing filters, from the Windows command line rather then as a plugin.

While I haven't tried this yet, this looks like the code I would need to run GRASS (and other porcessing) filters automatically against my data in QGIS. I saved this webpage and will have to take a look at it the next time I have some time to play with it in QGIS.
April 21, 2019 Morning
Good morning! Happy Easter π°! Two weeks to Cinco de Mayo π€ . Mostly cloudy and 57 degrees down at the Albany County Rail Trail. β There is a south-southeast breeze at 7 mph. π. The dew point is 49 degrees. The skies will clear Tuesday around 2 pm.
I decided it would be a nice morning for a spring hike down to the Normans Kill Gorge and the falls. πΎThe trees are starting to green up a bit and there is a fair bit of water going over the falls although I’ve seen more in the winter. Later on I plan to go home, have a quick breakfast / lunch with whatever I can find in the kitchen, start getting out my camping gear βΊ and then head out to my parents house for Easter dinner.
Today will have a slight chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy π¦, with a high of 70 degrees at 3pm. Nine degrees above normal, which is similiar to a typical day around May 16th. Maximum dew point of 50 at 10am. South wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. A year ago, we had mostly sunny. The high last year was 60 degrees. The record high of 89 was set in 1923. .6 inches of snow fell back in 1947.β
The sun will set at 7:44 pm with dusk around 8:14 pm, which is one minute and 8 seconds later than yesterday. π At sunset, look for partly cloudy skies π and temperatures around 62 degrees. The dew point will be 47 degrees. There will be a south breeze at 6 mph. Today will have 13 hours and 41 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 40 seconds over yesterday.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy π₯, with a low of 50 degrees at 4am. 10 degrees above normal, which is similiar to a typical night around May 24th. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm. In 2018, we had mostly clear in the evening, which became sunny by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 29 degrees. The record low of 20 occurred back in 1947.
Last night I rode my exercise bike for about an hour and then went for the usual evening walk πΆ. I had a hamburger π for dinner so that sort of made up for it I guess. Most of the time on the exercise bike was writing last night’s blog post then I watched a video about old school automatic toaster ovens. πIt was nice enough outside that I sat out back for a while. Then I retired to bed fairly early as I woke up fairly early the previous night. I didn’t go grocery shopping so I’m increasingly low on groceries but I’ll probably go on Monday night and also get food for camp.
I think the plan is to leave Wednesday after work for camping in the Adirondacks. βΊ I’m probably going to plan on fishing on Friday, then leave Thursday or Saturday for day hikes from camp and just hanging out and relaxing. I am going to have to move camp on Friday but that’s fine because if I’m planning on going fishing I’m going to have to drive at any rate.
As previously noted, there are 2 weeks until Cinco de Mayo π€ when the sun will be setting at 8:00 pm with dusk at 8:31 pm. On that day in 2018, we had partly sunny skies and temperatures between 76 and 50 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 66 degrees. We hit a record high of 91 back in 1944.
