"Is there anybody left to walk a muddy mile,
Is courage a word that's only said,
Is it true them dusty days are days that never really were,
But are only tales in books to be read?"

August 14, 2018 3:34 pm Update

Today I decided to request my absentee ballot, but I needed a stamp. πŸ—³ The closest post office to my office is located in the Capitol. πŸ”₯ I go there to buy the stamp, and the Capitol Building is closed because of a fire alarm going off. βœ‰οΈ

Despite this stunning example of voter suppression, by my very own government, πŸ› I was able to walk back to the Capitol later on, get my stamp, and mail out my absentee ballot application. πŸ“¬
