Apparently that rough section of Delaware Avenue in front of town hall has become enough of a "embarrassment to the politicians", so they are re-paving it.

The weekend forecast still looks nice, so I am hoping to do the Gas Up 🚜 and some camping in Schoharie County.🏕 Hot though on Sunday, and it’s still another week until the Mine Kill State Park Pool opens for the summer. I’m thinking Gas Up on Saturday and then maybe find a place to cool off on Sunday.🏊 Maybe do some fishing too.🐟 I have to be careful how far I get off-grid though, as I need to have cellphone reception as I will be on-call but able to work from out in the wilderness as long as I have phone reception.☎
Last night the work picnic was a lot of fun, 🍔and I was able to find somebody to give me a ride home. I probably could and should have driven, as I didn’t end up drinking much, 🎤 and karaoke was kind of neat, although I did not partake. Not my thing. Maybe next year.🚗
