This looks like a really nice weekend but I’m going to have to work again. But hopefully all this rain is helping to melt away the snow in the Adirondacks and βit will be followed by a relatively warm and dry spring. Last spring was so incredibly wet, it really wasn’t fun at all. 😫

Hooked up another one of those VMS max7219 modules at home, although despite my testing last night the clock chip isn’t working again.📺 But the display is. I have to check my connections for solder bridges and bad connections. 🔎I think I am going to hook up two more modules, so I can have a total of 4 modules and sixteen blocks for a nice long screen🚥. Not going to build a box for this but instead will tack it up on the wall. I got a big box of 28 gauge wire from China that I’ll use for wiring the module up to the wall. I’m glad that wire came as I’m running low and had to cut up a broken USB cable for wire. Which is good to use because it’s free but the USB cable wire has insulation that has zero heat resistance so it tends to melt easily and break, causing shorts.β‘
Made pasta for dinner then I sat back and📻 listened to Marketplace. 🍝Skipped going to the library because it looked like it was going to pour any minute. 📚 Got milk for breakfast. β Worked on putting together another map using kml. Browse through Facebook.
