As previously noted, there are 2 weeks until Father’s Day when the sun will be setting at 8:36 pm with dusk at 9:11 pm. On that day in 2016, we had mostly sunny skies and temperatures between 86 and 55 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 79 degrees. We hit a record high of 97 back in 1957.

Been going through my videos and photos from yesterday. Getting some content together for the blog this morning and working on some code and essays. Just the usual stuff when I’m home. 

Washed the floor in the kitchen and did some cleaning. I don’t know how the kitchen floor got so dirty but I think a lot of it was mud tracked in from camp. Also started preparing for what appears like to be a very busy week at work including getting out my dress clothes for work and hanging them in the bathroom so I won’t have to necessarily iron them. 

I’m hoping to get out camping next weekend, assuming that the forecast remains relatively warm and sunny. I don’t mind afternoon thunderstorms but not so much if it’s cloudy and cold all weekend. 

If not, I might either stay home or go camping locally and visit the Gas Up on Sunday. I really want to get some of that ice cream they churn with the antique motor and spend some time poking around and maybe watch the parade at 2 pm. I’ll definitely do this one of the two weeks. 

I got to get shopping in a bit and run to Advanced Auto to buy the switch and light bulb for my under seat lamp which hopefully will make it easier to find stuff while camping. Just a 921 light bulb. I am waiting for the color adjusting light string to come in the mail but hopefully that will work well too and I can wire it up before camping next weekend. It comes with a 12 volt car plug but I want to hook it directly to the switches in my truck cap.
