Why doesn't the state buy these buildings, and relocate the NYSDOT in them. I would think they would make magnificent office space, and provide state workers with a comfortable, relaxed environment that is productive for coming up with ideas on how to improve our transportation infrastructure. Renovating these buildings would be a lot cheaper then building a new building on the Thruway Authority site -- and would have an additional benefit of saving the unique and historic Thruway Authority building.
Parts of America, not that long ago, used to be a polluted as China.
Good Morning! Happy Tuesday. Kind of wet and rainy this morning. Maybe the humidity will not feel so sticky and oppressive with the rain, but we will see how that goes at the day progresses. Already though, the sun is peaking out, and that’s a sign we will soon see the heat again.
The insurance says I’m supposed to have my truck back by Friday, but I have my doubts, after driving past the shop on Sunday, and seeing it hasn’t moved in three weeks. I will call the body shop todahy, because honestly I’m tired of not having my truck. It’s been a month, so it really needs to get fixed, sooner then later. I will call the shop to see if there is any truth to the fact I’m getting the truck back on Tuesday.
Summer plans are really waiting on it.
They got to trim some of the branches along the bush route, as it seems like this summer that the bus roof is always scrapping along tree branches. I’m actually a bit surprised that CDTA isn’t more up on this. I know when they first got the hybrid buses, they had a program to trim tree branches to avoid the roofs hitting the branches.
