One of the challenges that I have with the online maps is getting the maps to look the same on different screen sizes. The solution is to set the viewport by the bounding box rather than the zoom level but that can still cause problems like leaving the map too zoomed on for a layer or in the case of the comparison layer but not always obvious how to do a scale comparison with modifying the zoom levels.
