About I was noticing the NY 28 and Interstate 88 Co-currenancy today ....

I wondered if part of Interstate 88 was the old carriageway for NY 28 but looking at this 1943 topographic map it's not. Instead they extended NY 28 down to Interstate to make it easier to access Cooperstown.
